Stereo-imaging recorded drum samples, or recording at higher sample rate, will not give you many advantages; it will only increase the size of the samples, resulting in more RAM-use – which other applications could actually benefit more from – and heavier projects. Usually the stereo-enhancement on them should come from inside the project.
