Mystery Box 3 is a cinematic sample library built around clocks, rhythms, and mechanical textures. We’ve meticulously captured ancient clocks, industrial machinery, gears, broken toys, and even organic sources like footsteps, water drops, wood, fire, and gas. The result is a versatile, tension-filled instrument with 2 Kontakt instruments and 400+ samples, perfect for creating an atmospheric, rhythmic backbone for your cues.
The Instruments of Mystery Box 3
1. Clock Loops

Features 160 tempo-synced loops and 30 cinematic one-shots, sourced from mechanics, machinery, metallic ticks, and organic textures.

Loops stay perfectly in sync with your DAW’s tempo. You can layer different categories to craft unique rhythmic combinations.

4 loop layers: Mechanical, Metallic, Creepy, and Organic, organized by time signature (16th, 8th, 4th, 2). Each layer has 10 samples on the virtual keyboard.

One-shots include Booms, Dark Hits, Low Organic Hits, Electronic Kicks, Metallic Screams, and Digital Bleeps, with 5 samples per category.

Loops are originally at 60 BPM, 1 bar long, and tempo-synced in HQ mode in Kontakt, preserving sound quality at any tempo.
2. Clock Sequencer

A step sequencer for building mechanical rhythms with individual “ticks” from various sources.

Features three sequencer lines, each programmable independently, with 4 rows of 4 samples corresponding to Heavy, Mid, and Light sounds.

Contains 224 samples, including big machinery impacts, tiny gear ticks, clocks, typewriters, metallic smashes, and more.
Mystery Box 3 is a collaboration with sound designer Marco Miele, who recorded most of the sources used.
