RAW CELLO FX is a collection of raw, twisted, and deeply expressive cello sound effects. It explores the space between music and noise, offering organic, intimate, and striking sounds that push the cello far beyond its traditional role.
Using unconventional playing techniques and experimental microphone placements, we captured rich harmonics and a wide range of unexpected textures. The cello was explored with fingers and hands, a variety of bows, and even everyday objects and kitchen utensils—bowed, scraped, struck, and abused across strings and the wooden body to uncover bold, characterful sounds.
This library includes carefully designed hits, bows, crescendos, screeches, whooshes, swells, and a bonus FX folder. It’s built to drop straight into trailer work, film scores, and sound design projects.
