MASHIBEATS SAMPLE PACKS – Loops and Samples curated by Mark de Clive-Lowe quote “…de Clive-Lowe is a musical force unlike any other” – Popmatters.com Mashibeats Sample Packs are a new on-going collection of sample packs curated by musician/composer/producer Mark de Clive-Lowe (MdCL). Focusing on bite size loops and samples that capture creative and musical ideas that can be looped, chopped and flipped to go anywhere your imagination can take you. BPM locked ideas that can serve as building blocks for your compositional and production ideas and open up doorways to new inspiration. Each pack focuses on a specific instrument and future packs will extend that further. Under MdCL’s AR-eye and ear, guest artists are brought in to collaborate creating new packs exclusively for Mashibeats. Mark de Clive-Lowe is no stranger to the world of creative music makers and forward thinkers – as a producer he’s produced and remixed for a Who’s Who including the likes of legendary jazz imprints Blue Note, Verve and Impulse Records, Hiatus Kaiyote, Jill Scott, Marvin Gaye producer/writer Leon Ware, UK neo-soul originator Omar, film soundtrack legend Jerry Goldsmith, Brasilian songbird Çeu, SA-RA’s Shafiq Husayn and many more. As a studio keyboard player he’s spent the last 20 years collaborated with underground producers worldwide creating new music sounds and movements that push the needle forward – including Masters At Work’s Kenny Dope, Waajeed, DJ Spinna, Ge-Ology, Anthony Nicholson, Zed Bias, Bugz in the Attic. As a live musician, he has performed with some of the greatest musicians alive today – Kamasi Washington, Pino Palladino (D’Angelo), Chris Daddy Dave, Harvey Mason (Herbie Hancock’s Headhunters) and dozens more. “…a timely reminder that some of the greatest producers, in line with the likes of Quincy and Stepney, are also musicians with chops as well as smart adventurers in sound” – Echoes (UK)
