GRID is a half-speed modulation plugin designed to create evolving, time-based effects by blending dry and wet signals in flexible and unpredictable ways. It works especially well on loops, samples, and live audio, adding rhythmic movement and experimental variation without losing musical control.
At its core, GRID lets you shape how and when the effect is triggered using tempo-synced divisions and step-based timing, giving you precise rhythmic control while still encouraging creative randomness.
Key timing options include dynamic half-speed control with 1/4, 1/2, and 1/1 beat divisions, along with selectable step lengths of 4, 8, or 16 positions synced to your DAW. Instead of a traditional mix knob, the dry/wet balance is controlled through a visual table system, where the top represents fully wet and the bottom fully dry. This makes modulation feel more expressive and performance-oriented.
You can lock points to a grid for tight rhythmic precision or place them freely for more experimental movement. An intelligent randomization system reshapes patterns while keeping them musical, and a reset function instantly returns everything to a clean 50% balance. Dedicated low-pass and high-pass filters apply only to the effected signal, keeping the dry signal untouched.
Version 1.1.1 expands the creative potential even further with 10 unique randomization modes. These include:

A creative trick built into the plugin is pushing the high-pass filter to 100%, which can create a tremolo-style sidechain effect — especially effective on pads, plucks, and atmospheric layers.
