Creepy Piano 3 is the next evolution of our popular mutated piano instrument for Windows and macOS, rebuilt with a refreshed interface, improved structure, and an even darker, more unsettling sound.
This new version blends a distinct lo-fi character with heavily processed piano samples originally recorded from Steinway & Sons A-188 and Yamaha C3 pianos. All presets from the previous release are included, alongside four expansions that bring the total to 95 multi-sampled presets, offering a wide and expressive creative range.
The interface is clean and intuitive, featuring ADSR amplitude control, LFO modulation, low-pass and high-pass filters, and cutoff shaping. Newly added delay and reverb modules provide classic controls for adding depth, space, and atmosphere.
Sound shaping goes even further with a dedicated tremolo section driven by LFO rate and depth, plus global gain and pan controls for precise placement. At the bottom of the interface, four additional layered sound effects—rain, vinyl, wind, and dark—can be blended with any preset. Each effect includes individual gain and pan controls and can be enabled or disabled instantly.
Creepy Piano 3 is ideal for cinematic scoring, game and video soundtracks, lo-fi hip hop, trap, experimental sound design, or any production that calls for a haunting, atmospheric piano tone.
The instrument is available in VST, VST3, and AU formats for DAWs and plugin hosts on both Windows and macOS.
